There is a current trend in the world of people looking for more creative and pleasant ways to spend their productive time, other than getting a traditional job.

I will explore in this article why there is that tendency and what the consequences would be if everybody achieved that goal.

Let’s start with the “why”s, shall we? Undoubtedly the need for recognition has increased enormously from past to current generations for a couple reasons.

First, the rise of social media and its associated platforms have spurred a new level of comparison between individuals. It’s now easier than ever to compare our lives, successes, and accomplishments with others, which can often lead to a sense of competition.

Second, the current economy is highly competitive, with many striving for success, recognition, and advancement.

Last, our culture has shifted away from traditional values and towards a focus on individualism and self-promotion. In this environment, recognition is seen as a sign of success and can be a powerful motivator. As a result, the need for recognition has become more vital than ever before.
